Macross Frontier Is Finally Here

Yes, the complete set of the 25 episodes of Macross Frontier is finally here in Malaysia And if you are lucky, like me, you may still be able to get the Original Soundtrack CD that comes free with the DVD set.

Gundam 00 On DVD

… now available in Malaysia. Got my copy last month from Tower Records. 25 episodes on three DVDs. Anyway, I got the Japanese version with English subtitled. The English version of Gundam 00 is reported to only be available on DVD next year.

This is the best Gundam I’ve seen so far and the graphic is simply the best. Gundam 00 is the first Gundam television series shot in high-definition. Get your copy to see what I mean.

Anyway, the 2nd season is currently being shown in Japan and as usual, only in 2009 will I get a copy of the DVD.

Bandai Entertainment Inc. recently announced that it has licensed the rights to the television series Mobile Suit Gundam 00 to Starz Media. Gundam 00 will premiere on the SCI FI Channel on Nov 24th at 11pm.

The US anime fans will be watching Gundam 00 in English

Anyway, for your information, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is the latest installment in the long running franchise.

This series is set in the year 2307 A.D, when fossil fuels have been completely depleted and humanity has turned to solar energy to maintain its way of life. In this future setting the world is divided between 3 great superpowers, and a delicate balance of power is maintained with the orbital elevators that each superpower possesses.

The controlling nations of the solar power find themselves at war with more impoverished countries. These sun-deprived countries threaten the promised land of God, which leads to the formation of a group called the Celestial Being, whose purpose is to end war and unite humanity through the use of four Gundam mech. The series is directed by Seiji Mizushima and premiered in Japan in October 2007.
