For all otaku or mangaka to be, I don’t think I need to explain further what’s all about, but for the rest, this is the first major show in New York dedicated to Japanese Animation - Anime, Japanese Comic - Manga, and Video Games. If you always find yourself attracted to the wide-eyed characters, either from Anime or Manga, here’s you chance to learn more about it.
According to Japan Sosciety’s web site.
The exhibition, organized by the Vancouver Art Gallery, will be presented in an environment designed by cutting-edge architectural practice Atelier Bow-Wow, featuring life-size blowups of popular figures from the worlds of anime and manga within an intriguing sequence of spaces that evoke Tokyo’s clamorous cityscape. Co-curated by leading North American and Japanese specialists, KRAZY! will give visitors a direct experience of new forms of cultural production and offers fresh insight into the interdependence of three art forms of the future.
There will be Anime Film Screenings as well, which will include Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Episode 9, 17, 18, and 27 (1982-83)
Head over to Japan Society, from the link above, for details.

Dragonball Evolution is adapted from a popular Japanese manga created by Akira Toriyama. Dragonball was was first turned into a Japanese animation series, and now to the big screen.
Dragonball Evolution is about Goku, a powerful warrior who protects the Earth from various aliens and bad guys.
Known by almost every anime and manga fans by unique and trademark spiky hair and also his orange gi (shirt), a high expectation from fans is expected. So how’s the movie, is it any good? One of the most commented from friends are, “they should get those who are good in martial arts skills to star in this movies, or at least get a good stuntman”.
Have you watch it, any comments?
