Halo Legends Coming Out on February 16, 2010

At first, it’s only a game. Then in July last year, they produced the first issue of Halo: Helljumper comic mini series comics. And now, finally the Anime will be out.
Warner Bros. Animation will release Halo Legends, a new seven-story anthology of animated stories based on the world of the popular video game Halo on February 16. Rising anime star Toshiyuki Kanno directed “The Babysitter” episode of the anthology. He worked with Studio 4oC (and producer Eiko Tanaka) to create the episode which focuses on the intense rivalry between the ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) and the Spartans. When given an assignment to assassinate a high-ranking Covenant Prophet, a four-man team of ODSTs must accept a Spartan Sniper to their strike force.
Kanno has rapidly established himself as a force within the anime industry, building a reputation for directing stylish action anime in such productions as Black Lagoon, Fighting Spirit, Aquarian Age and Zone of the Enders. Iron Man Anime

After DC came out with Gotham Knights, Marvel too plans to turn some of their superheroes into anime style. Marvel is partnering Japanese animation studio Madhouse to create characters inspired by the Marvel Universe for the Japanese market, starting with Iron Man and Wolverine.
Madhouse is currently in production on the first of four new half-hour series scheduled to launch in spring 2010. More about this at Animation Magazine.
