The popular Japanese Film Festival is back for the 5th time. Films will be screened in KL from July 17 to 21. I know it’s over , but don’t worry, you can still go to Penang and watch them. Penang residents will get to watch them at GSC Gurney Plaze from July 25 to 27, 2008.

For Japanese Animation fans, catch ‘The Girl Who Leapt Through Time’. It’s about a teenager, Konno Makoto, whom realises during a car accident that she can travel though time.

Directed by Hosada Mamur, this anime movie has won several awards, including the grand prize for animation at the 10th Japan Media Art Festival. It’s an adaptation from a 1965 novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui.

But, don’t worry. If you are not into anime, there’s also ‘Ultraman Mebius & Ultraman Brothers’
